"Traveling again and again wide open Alaska, we finally hit the road for Kennicott.  We were told that Chitina, is quite special; not exactly a tourists place.  We looked for housing and found a home!  So we kept asking silly questions in order to avoid a cold night in the car and we were so lucky to find our nice friends.  We had a very good, deep, long sleep out in the forest cabin.  Everything in the cabin and around is set with utmost care and taste.  The morning talk warmed our thirsty hearts.  It seems these are nice common grounds between the Alaskan  and the Swiss people.  By the way your candy salmon is delicious!! Thank you!"

"The reason was fishing, why we are here.  The trip ended with wine schnapps and beer.  We got those nice cabins with a party of six, Americans and Germans, hoo what a mix.  The cabins are beautiful, as was was the rest, and from our hosts we only got the best.  For breakfast there was ham, cheese, jam and much more,  we got moose and not wild bore.  Over all we can say we had a beautiful time,  excuse my writing it might not be a good rhyme.  The gorgeous time and the days we spend, we enjoyed it so much we can recommend to all our firends from the near and far.  In German you would say it was Wunderbar!"
