If you are looking for somewhere special, we invite you to settle into one of our custom made log cabins and experience an authentic taste of the last frontier.  Sit back and enjoy the peaceful relaxation of your cabin  porch.  Close your eyes and listen to the sound of our mountain stream and feel the gentle touch of our mountain breezes.  Experience one of the most restful nights sleep you have had in one of our custom log beds.  Explore our wilderness hiking trails, discover the local wildlife, return home with breathtaking photos of the Great Land that is Alaska. 

  Each of our log cabins are Alaskan First Class and a work of art in their own right.  Our custom cabins were built  with local spruce logs and all  the log furniture is made by the owners.

Our cabins are an escorted short walk from the parking area.  During the short walk we may encounter grayling or an otter in our stream, perhaps an eagle soaring overhead and if we are lucky, a sheep peering down from the hillside or mountain above. 

Each of our cabins provide a custom made double log bed, table and chairs, electricity, radio, coffee pot, porch, and are nestled in the quite serenity of the Alaskan wilderness.  An old fashion washbasin is provided as well as outdoor plumbing.   Our first cabin is designed as honeymoon suite for two.  Our second cabin features a full size bed and a day bed and will accommodate three  people. 

We serve a light breakfast basket with rolls, juice and fresh ground coffee in the mornings.

From our walk to the cabin,  the cabin itself and the outdoor plumbing, a visit with us  is like stepping back into time and history for a true taste of the "Last Frontier".

Our current rate for a true Alaskan Experience

per night is:

  $125.00 for two guests 

Each additional person is $15.00

** Price includes breakfast and evening snack**

Reservations without a credit card to secure the date, will be held until four p.m..  We are happy to secure your reservation with a credit card number.   We do ask that all guests call 24 hours in advance with changes or cancellations.  Should no cancellation or changes be noted for a confirmed reservation, it is our policy to charge the full nights rent to your credit card.

Please Note:  All of our cabins are non smoking; we do provide an area outside on the porch where you may step out to enjoy the view.   

If you are planning on continuing your travels into Wrangell St. Elias National Park, our guest cabins are a perfect  starting point for  the long four hour drive along a wash  board gravel road.    An early morning start from Chitina allows for plenty of time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way.  Travel can also be arranged by air from the Chitina Airport,  the small plane ride from Chitina to McCarthy is simply spectacular.    We are  happy to assist you with making reservations for other services in our area and to answer any questions that you may have about your adventure in the Alaskan Wilderness!
